Giving Back to the Dripping Springs Community

Capstone Electric & HomeTown Missions

At Capstone Electric, we believe that doing good work means more than just wiring homes and businesses. It means investing in the community we’ve called home for over 20 years.

That’s why Capstone Electric is proud to partner with HomeTown Missions, a Dripping Springs-based volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to tearing down unsafe and unhealthy homes and replacing them with new, safe, and secure housing for families in need.

When HomeTown Missions builds, Capstone Electric is proud to donate our electrical labor — helping ensure each new home is wired safely and up to code. It’s one of the most meaningful ways we can put our skills to work for our neighbors.

About HomeTown Missions

What They Do

HomeTown Missions identifies families living in unsafe or structurally unsound homes in the Dripping Springs area, then mobilizes volunteers to tear down the old structure and build a brand new, code-compliant home in its place — at no cost to the family.

Who’s Involved

Every HomeTown Missions build is powered entirely by volunteers from the local community — skilled tradespeople, church groups, neighbors, and businesses who donate their time and expertise to give a family a safe place to call home.

Why It Matters

Safe housing is the foundation of a stable life. HomeTown Missions gives families in our own backyard the dignity and security of a home that’s truly safe — and Capstone Electric is honored to play a role in making that happen.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve have used Scott previously in an electric issue we had, and he was extremely proficient in resolving the issue. I recently had lost power to the house from a large tree branch that ripped everything down to the meter box. In a panic I called another local company ( Tejas Electric), which wanted to charge $2400 for what Scott did in an emergency for approximately $2000 less. His team worked efficiently and I was up and running in just 2 1/2 hours. No price gouging, just honest dedication to the community. Highly recommended

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Steve came over during the holiday to install a ceiling fan, install a new outlet and repair a couple of switches. As usual, he called first to confirm the time. Great company. Great people. Have used them several times. Highly recommended.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Outstanding electrical install and repair outfit! Local small business, family owned and operated. Scott was very helpful over the phone providing recommendations and answering questions, and then scheduled work to be performed. Two electricians arrived on-time, performed the install and then cleaned up the area. Highly professional fit and finish. Will use again for future electrical jobs! A+++++
