Our Story
Scott Breen has been in the electrical trade for decades, honing his skills with another company before founding Capstone Electric in 2006. His goal was straightforward: provide Central Texas with honest, high-quality electrical service from a team that actually knows the area. Back then, Dripping Springs was a small town. Today, it’s one of the fastest-growing communities in Texas — and Capstone has been here for every bit of that growth.
Over the years, we’ve worked on everything from small ranch homes and custom new builds to commercial tenant finish-outs and large-scale construction projects. We’ve watched the Hill Country change, and we’ve grown right along with it — adding experienced electricians to our team, taking on bigger and more complex jobs, and continuing to earn the trust of homeowners and contractors who keep coming back.
It’s a family business in every sense. Scott’s son Zachary holds his Journeyman electrician license and is actively working toward his Master’s — a milestone the whole Capstone team is looking forward to. That kind of investment in people, in craft, and in the next generation is what keeps this company moving forward.
